Question 1

Does IT Solution Company only work with banks or large corporations?

Accepted Answer

No. While the founder's track record includes projects in banking, finance, and insurance, IT Solution Company's offering is designed for any organization with digital products that wants to improve its QA practice. We work with mid-size software factories, companies with in-house development teams, fintechs, insurtechs, e-commerce platforms, edtech, and teams delivering software to external clients. Size matters less than context and the genuine desire to improve.

Question 2

Do you only offer automation?

Accepted Answer

No. Automation is an important part of what we do, but it is not everything. Our approach starts with diagnosis: understanding the real state of quality first, then defining what makes the most sense to improve. In some cases the priority is automation; in others, it is QA governance, exit criteria, traceability, or building a new solution with quality from the start. We offer four core services — Executive QA Assessment, Automation Starter, QA Governance / Fractional QA Lead, and Custom Software Development with a Quality-First approach — plus complementary services such as performance testing, security validations, and training.

Question 3

Does IT Solution Company also build software?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In addition to Software Quality and Quality Engineering services, we offer Custom Software Development with a Quality-First approach. This means building digital solutions — internal web applications, MVPs, functional modules, APIs, integrations, dashboards, and operational tools — with acceptance criteria, testing, traceability, maintainability, and validation built in from the start, not as a late review at the end of the project. We are not a generalist software factory: we sell scoped, validated engagements with quality embedded throughout.

Question 4

What kind of software can you build?

Accepted Answer

Internal web applications, MVPs, functional modules, APIs, integrations, dashboards, and operational tools with controlled scope. We also support light modernization of processes that today rely on spreadsheets or scattered tools. Large-scale projects, core banking systems, full ERPs, or highly transactional systems must be evaluated upfront and may require additional partners.

Question 5

Does IT Solution Company also manage software projects?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer Software Project & Product Management with a Quality-First Delivery approach. The goal is to bring order to scope, planning, risks, deliverables, quality, communication, and executive visibility for digital initiatives. We can support a kickoff, backlog setup, monthly delivery management, a project rescue, or a specific release readiness effort. We are not a generic corporate PMO — we focus on software initiatives with technical judgment and embedded quality.

Question 6

Does the management service replace my Product Owner or Project Manager?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. It can complement internal roles, reinforce a temporary capacity, or support a specific initiative. The scope is defined based on responsibilities, decision-making authority, and client needs. We can also take delegated ownership when the context warrants it and contractual conditions allow.

Question 7

Can you rescue a delayed software project?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We evaluate a Project Rescue intervention to identify the root causes of disorder, redefine scope, organize risks, prioritize the backlog, and build a stabilization plan. The starting point is always a short diagnostic to understand what is actually broken and what should be addressed first.

Question 8

Who owns the source code of the software you develop?

Accepted Answer

The intellectual property of the source code belongs to the client once deliverables are accepted and commercial terms are fulfilled. Code is delivered versioned in the agreed repository (GitHub, Azure DevOps, or the client's platform of choice). Specific IP, licensing, and applicable exceptions (for example, open-source components or third-party libraries) are formalized in writing before starting, along with the contract and NDA.

Question 9

Does the development engagement include post-release support?

Accepted Answer

The initial development scope closes with documentation, handover, and recommendations. Post-release support is evaluated separately: it can take the form of a monthly evolutive maintenance plan, an on-demand hours pool, or an ad-hoc per-incident arrangement. We don't offer 24/7 support, but we can accompany the first post-release window for stabilization and handling of early findings.

Question 10

What happens if the scope changes during the project?

Accepted Answer

Changes are normal in any software initiative. We work with a formal change-control process: we evaluate impact on scope, timelines, cost, risks, and acceptance criteria. Minor changes are absorbed during execution. Changes with significant impact are agreed in writing before being implemented. The goal is to decide with information — not to surprise the client with unspoken adjustments.

Question 11

Can you work alongside vendors or teams the client already has?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can collaborate with other client providers: internal teams, software factories, consultancies, or integrators. In those cases, we define upfront the roles, responsibilities, interfaces, shared artifacts, and coordination cadences needed to avoid duplication or gaps. Our approach is to add judgment and specialized capacity — not to displace providers that are already delivering value.

Question 12

Which service should we start with?

Accepted Answer

In many cases, the best starting point is the Executive QA Assessment. It allows you to understand the real state of your QA practice before investing in specific solutions. If a clear diagnosis already exists or the problem is well-defined (for example, 'we need to automate regression' or 'our QA team lacks strategic direction'), it may make more sense to start directly with the Automation Starter or QA Governance. The ideal first step is a conversation.

Question 13

Can you work with a team that has no formal QA function yet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Several of our services are designed precisely for those contexts: teams where QA is distributed across developers, where there is no dedicated QA role, or where the function exists but without structure or shared criteria. Our approach does not require a mature QA practice already in place — it starts by understanding the real context and building from there.

Question 14

Can you support a software factory that already has testers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The offering is not about replacing the existing team — it is about supporting it. We can provide strategic judgment, bring order to the practice, improve existing automation, install QA governance, or simply be the senior reference the team needs without a full-time hire. We work alongside the team, not in parallel or above it.

Question 15

Do you work with specific tools?

Accepted Answer

We can work with the client's existing stack or propose the most appropriate one based on context. We have experience with Karate DSL, Rest Assured, Selenium, Serenity BDD, Screenplay, Gherkin, Jira/Xray, QMetry, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, JMeter, OWASP ZAP, SQL, and Oracle, among others. Tool selection always follows strategy — not the other way around.

Question 16

Do you offer performance testing and security validations?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as complementary services depending on the project context. Performance testing identifies bottlenecks before they reach production. QA security validations cover critical flows from a functional and data perspective — without replacing specialized security audits. Both are typically offered as a complement to core services.

Question 17

Can you train our team?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer workshops and mentoring in QA, BDD, test automation, and quality governance — tailored for both QA teams and developers looking to adopt better practices. Training is designed around the team's level and needs, not as a generic off-the-shelf course.

Question 18

Do you offer staffing or body shopping?

Accepted Answer

Not as our primary focus. IT Solution Company's offering is different from a resource outsourcing model. We don't provide testers by volume or fill seats indefinitely without a clear value proposition. If the context warrants it and there is strategic merit, we can discuss closer support models — but always with a focus on the quality of the engagement, not the quantity of resources.

Question 19

How do projects typically start?

Accepted Answer

Usually with an initial conversation to understand the context: what kind of team you have, where quality stands today, what concerns you, and what you want to improve. From there, we evaluate together which service makes the most sense and what collaboration could look like. We don't arrive with a pre-packaged proposal — we arrive to listen.

Question 20

Can you work remotely?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The working model can be adapted to fully remote, in-person, or hybrid arrangements depending on the client's context. Most services work well in a remote format with the right meeting and follow-up cadence. For contexts where participation in team ceremonies is relevant, a hybrid model can be evaluated.

Question 21

How is confidentiality protected?

Accepted Answer

Every client relationship should be framed within a confidentiality agreement (NDA) before sensitive business, architectural, or process information is shared. Discretion is part of how we work: no client data is shared, no real cases are exhibited without explicit authorization, and the boundaries of what can be made public are respected.
